A seven-day programme guide, already filled in.

The guide loads itself the first time you sign in. What is on now, what follows, the rest of the week, and a jump straight to the channel from the listing.

What the guide shows

Seven days of listings for the live channels, pulled in by the player on the first sign-in and kept current without you touching it.

Now, next and the rest of the week, with a jump to the channel from the listing rather than a scroll through hundreds of entries.

Catch-up

Most live channels support catch-up. Scroll back through the guide and play something that has already been on, within the window each broadcaster allows.

Recording

TiviMate records a programme from the listing to a USB stick or the box's own storage, so a late kick-off is waiting for you in the morning.

Getting the clock right

The guide follows the device clock, so the listings match wherever the device is. Moved house, or taken the box abroad? Check that the time zone on the device and the guide offset in the player both say where you actually are.

  • Set the device time zone to London.
  • In TiviMate or IBO Player, leave the guide time-shift at zero unless the times are visibly out.
  • On a MAG or Formuler box, set the time server to europe.pool.ntp.org.
